Community Volunteer Opportunity – This Saturday

While this is not an Exploris event, one of our teachers works at Stop Hunger Now. This is a great opportunity to join in, bring your kids, and do some community service to help those less fortunate. On December 12th, Stop Hunger Now will be celebrating 10 years of meal packaging. SHN has worked tireless towards our mission to eliminate hunger by organizing hundreds of thousands of volunteers to package and ship over 225 million meals to 71 countries around the globe. Ray Buchanan, SHN Founder, will join us at we mark this amazing miilestone.

This Saturday, December 12th we will package over 100,000 meals!!! Hundreds of volunteers are needed and YOU are invited to join us! Reach out to friends, neighbors and colleagues and help us spread the word. Volunteers of all ages can help!

There will be food, music, fun! Two food trucks will be on site from noon until 5:00 PM. A bounce house and kids area will be available and staffed by adults.

This is an amazing opportunity for each of us to come together and be a part of an effort that will make a huge impact on our world. What a great way to spend a couple of hours during this season of giving.

Please dress warmly. Our warehouse is not heated.
