Try Rowing for Free this Week at Triangle Rowing Club Sneak Peek Week

Several Exploris 7th and 8th graders have rowed with the Triangle Rowing Club over the past three years. A lot of high school kids from Raleigh Charter and other area schools row as well. This week, starting Tuesday, Feb. 17, kids have a chance to learn to row and try out the club for free.

A carpool is available to help get kids to the lake after school

The Middle School team (7th and 8th graders) meets at Lake Wheeler Park on:

  • Tuesdays from 3:30-5:45
  • Thursdays from 3:30-5:45
  • Saturdays from 7:30-10:30am

Check the Triangle Rowing Club web site for more details. If kids are interested, they can email questions to Becca Lewis in 8th grade.

  1. With the inclement weather we are expecting will Tuesday’s free season be rescheduled? I would like Matthew to try rowing. Looks like a great sport.

    Best regards, Eileen
